Ms. Keda and her older sister, Leshuan Phillips-Patton, were visionary leaders with ambitious plans to make a difference in their community. Tragically, Ms. Keda's life was cut short at the age of 36, just as she was reaching her prime. Alongside her sister, they had envisioned opening a nonprofit organization with a dual mission: teaching young girls etiquette and gang prevention, while also providing financial literacy and gang intervention programs. Their shared vision reflected a deep commitment to empowering and uplifting their community, particularly vulnerable youth facing the challenges of gang involvement and lack of educational opportunities. Despite the untimely loss of Ms. Keda, her legacy as a visionary leader and advocate for positive change continues to inspire those who knew her, as well as future generations who benefit from the enduring impact of her work.
